Default tell me more about deep freezing parts.

how cold does it have to be?
do i have to use liquid nitrogen?
how long must it be kept in freezing to take effect?
can i do it my self on a small level?
what benifits would freezing my moving parts give me
such as crank, rods, cam, bearrings, rockers, valves, rings?
does any one know how this kind of a mod will effect the motor?

You talking about cryogenics, right? If you don't know the answers to those questions, definitely have someone else do it. Cryo-treating parts does make them stronger, but it's a VERY SLOW process, both the cooling and bringing back to room temp.

long time ago, I used to "play" with LOX . . . froze a rose, cricket, and a roach . . . . and the roach thawed out and walked off. I'm not kidding.

Be careful freezing any plastic or rubber parts.
They can become less durable afterwards.

It is a very involved process and if not done right parts can explode from different rates of expansion. there are some how to's around but it is VERY involved
