Mine has perfect clearance in my 2000 Silverado. I used the pieces from a "help" kit at Oriely's to make it work. Using a cross over fuel line and flipping the rail allowed me to get the filter further forward. It works perfectly, but that was just my solution. I have about $20 in the crossover I made.
