no need to pull the heads, it is the easiest cam swap I have ever done on any motor...ive worked on many sbc and bbc and the LS motors are so easy to do cam swaps in. search around there is plenty of info you guide you if u need help.

Follow this, you will be fine.. Same in the car as the trucks, act the trucks are a tad easier.. You don'y have to pull the heads.. KEY THING TAKE YOUR TIME..

You don't have to pull the heads unless you plan on changing the lifters. Most folks don't change the lifters unless you have a ton of miles on your motor. There are several cam swap threads on this site, just use the search icon and type in cam swap.
