The ls6 is a good cheap up grade, yes you will want rods longer then 7.4 due the smaller BC on the cam...
Cause Stock48 knows his stuff, and if thats what he sugguest ill take it. Rem im turboed, not SCed.
you see what he ran in his stock 6.0? that was with a 212 .540 114LSA

on an STS, I'd go a little exhaust biased on the split, and wide on the LSA, 115-116... just make sure you dont have any overlap.

Yeah, it depends on how well you can flow the exhaust. Some setups that are "exhaust housing challenged" (read anything that doesn't take a month and half to spool up) can get some benefit from a single pattern cam depending on tuning.

On an LQ9 for street duty and a low boost sts setup I'd run something in a 220ish/216ish range on a 114lsa, but honestly with a "non-maximum effort" turbo setup cam choice is much less important than in an NA setup. Get a good, 0 overlap single pattern or reverse split and slap it in.

reverse split Erik??

please school me LOL I always have believed that larger exhaust duration/lift would help spool time slightly since there are 6.5 miles of tubing before the turbine. This is the same concept as front mounted but maybe not AS critical simply because the much shorter hot side.

The cam I have picked out for my setup is a 219/229 .59x/.6xx 114+2 custom grind, theres currently a GT2-3 living in there.
