A little birdie once told me these heads were blueprinted from the 243 heads the Z06 had? Can anyone confirm if this is true? If so, I might hold up spending some extra cash to upgrade some fine flowing heads...

What size valves do those heads have?

Since those are the standard 4.8 and 5.3 heads, they should be available abundantly and cheap. I need some for my 6.0

 

1.89". You'll need to enlarge'em to 2.0" for a 6.0 liter..............

 

do the 4.8 and 5.3 GEN IV engines have the same valve sizes of the LS2? stock vs stock?

 

as far as I know they are the same valves that are in the ls2's 243 heads, but dont quote me on it. they will not be all that abundant and cheap unless you can find someone who doesn't know what they have. as far as if your lm7 has them you'll have to look. the casting numbers are visable when installed. should be on the front right or left side. you will see either a 799 706 or 862
