Just saw a thunder racing 219/236 117 cam I'm thinking about. With -6.5* of overlap, it should drive pretty nice in my 408. I could run a lot less converter also. What are your guys' thoughts?

i dont know man... you might miss it when its gone. im ready to have a big cam/stall somethin again after gettin rid of my g8 almost a year ago. how bout this, ill trade you straight up for my stock 4.8 for your 408... and ill take the hit on driveability haha. but for real tho, i bomb around a 97 honda civic for a daily driver. excellent on gas (drive 40 minutes one way to work) and dirt cheap on insurance (im a young whipper snapper). have you thought about doing somethin like that instead?

I'm also a young whipper snapper. One more year of college so as of now, I can't afford a little daily driver. I wish I could. If I did have a dd, I would put a bigger cam in my truck and drive the **** out of it. But that's not an option right now.

Maybe the 219/230 117 would be better. They also have a 215/230 117.
