Default Springs...

forgot about springs too... I know I should use 7.4 rods.. thats on the list. What about springs? I was told LS6 springs would work good with my old cam choice.. can I do LS6s or should I do different? do I need to just look for the same diameter as the LS6? smaller? bigger? any info on that and LBS/in rate.. any of that other good stuff I need to know about. Thanks guys

LS6 springs are good for .550" lift. I would go with Patriot Golds myself. They handle plenty of lift (.650") and come with Ti retainers, new seats, new seals, and keepers.

You will want 7.4" pushrods, so those are correct. The kit in Summit is going to cost the same as getting the Patriot springs ($250) and 7.4 pushrods ($100) separately. I think the springs in that kit are 918's, just make sure they are the newest batch if you go that route. Certain 918 springs have had problems in the past.
