what is the plug you refer to as "#6"?

Colby, NGK's are stock in some of these motors. When I replaced mine (which I didn't need to do) NGK on one side and Delco on the other. I would think depending on your tune the TR55 would be fine, pick em up at Oreilly. You can look up the part number on their web site.
I think I was running around 30* timing until recently when it started to get hot, and had to have my tuner back it down to stop the pinging until it gets cool again.
