Should I get my torque converter loosened up a bit?

Yes I have launched it in 4x4 on the street and it's exactially the same as on the track. I know I need gears.... But fir now I'm going to have to wait on them.

Got my 4.10's f&r installed for 1k. Dropped from 9.54 to 8.90 one week later in worse weather but I only had a 2k stall.

well you don't have to swap gears if drop tires size. do you want a mud truck or a fast truck thats a decision you need to make. mud truck leave it alone and drive it fast truck get smaller tires just my opinion though
