Default rocker arms replacment

Did you guys use poly locks when replacing your rockers, or did you just use stock nuts. And what about the valve stem locks, did you use new ones or the stock ones.

You can use the stock locks, and the stock rockers on the Gen 3's just have a bolt through the rocker center and are torqued to 22 ft. lbs.

Are you asking the actual question you really want to ask? The OEM rockers do NOT use polylocks nor do they need locks to keep them in place.

No, when replacing the stock rockers with some comp cam rockers did anyone use the poly locks or did you just use the stock nuts.

The Comp Pro Mags use guide plates and studs along with polylocks for preload adjustment and set screws to keep them in place once they are set. The OEM rockers use bolts thru the trunion so they can NOT be used with the Pro Mags

No install them like you are suppose to and be done with it. Set the valve lash and all that oyu will also need valve cover spacers or else the rockers will hit the underside of the valve cover.

The preload needs to be set correctly if you do not feel comfortable doing this please have someone that is experienced doing so install them. And to clear them you could always use a good set of custom valve covers
