ls7 lifters
ls2 lifter trays
ls2 valley cover
corvette cam gear (3 bolt)
cam gear bolts
cam replacement kit (all kinds of gaskets and seals)
mls head gaskets
comp pushrod length checker
crank pulley bolt
head bolt kit
ls1 timing chain tensioner

i've definitely done a lot of homework on this, but any recommendations are welcome.
I may be interested in doing this exact DOD Delete and cam swap. Could you list part number if possible? if not i'll track them down. So this is the complete swap list plus 7.40 hardened pushrods?

Thunder Racing sells VVT cam phaser limiter kits and DOD delete kits.

My setup developed a tick after about a month, and I attributed it to too long of pushrods. LS7 lifters are .060" longer than their LS1 counterparts, so you'll need corresponding pushrods to account for it. LS7 lifters like a little more preload, so 7.350" is just right. I used Comp Cams part # 7637-16 from Summit. Also my list is for a setup with the older 3 bolt cams. Let me know if you have any more questions.

How did you determine the correct timing chain dampner? I have read other posts using GM part number 12588670 from the LS2 for a 5.3 cam swap.

Here is something I found out today that was quite interesting.
I ordered GM part number 12499225 from my Chevy dealer. This is a box of 16 GM LS7 lifters. My cost was $118.80. They are packaged in original AC Delco boxes. The individual boxes are numbered HL124 17122490. If you wanted to buy an individual lifter GM list is $57.59. So there is a great price break if you order it under the correct number. I did not believe it until I my parts were delivered today.
