rebulding?

Default rebulding?

ok guys i have an 02 RCSB with a 5.3 and auto tranny.
it has 137k on it and im wondering...
should i get it rebuilt? i know all of you are gonna say go with a 6.0 but i dont really want to b/c its a DD and i wanna keep it semi-original.
and if i rebuild it should i put new cam and heads in?
i need some help here.

it really is going to be more cost efficient to get a different motor whether it be a pull-out 5.3 or a 6.0

what should a 6.0 go for with tranny and how much time and $$ is involved?

usually takes about a day(8hours) for the mechanically inclined person to do it

id guess aroudn $3k for motor and trans and you could probably get by without the trans
