Just got back from the dyno, my last dyno with the 212/218 low lift cam from Comp yeilded me 313hp and 328tq.... the new cam 220/220 .564/.564 and SLP UD pulley got me 332hp and 346tq... I'm happy with the results, wasn't expecting anything too outrageous...

I can feel my 4l60e about to die on me can't wait for the rebuld with a new TC

 

Damn nice. It's those LS6 heads. What are the SAE #s? 3rd gear pull obviously from the 150mph. Do you know what kind of driveshaft your tahoe has?

I hate those charts too that dont show rpms at the bottom

 

Yeah I love these heads! I wouldn't mind milling them to bump up my compression too... SAE #s were around 5-7hp/tq lower. Have no idea about the driveshaft, but its stock..

the 799 castings are taken from the 243 castings... we got the good heads

 

thought the 799 and 243 were just a 5.3L casting. Didnt think they were special
.

 

the 243 head was developed for the 2001 z06, eventually went on all LS2s and now on all 4.8s and 5.3s

 

looks almost identical to the 3 5.3L i just saw dyno with about the same cam except you got about 10ft lbs on them
