In a mud truck I was told by a old wheeler wheel spin is key. Is it a rock crawler? Or mud?

I think the cheapest ones I have seen are around 4000-4500 by vortec, You could get a nice turbo front mount kit from KBracing for 3000-4000 I think.

Are you dead set on a pro-charger?

I would go pro charger. They make a very nice kit with room to grow. You could also price together a kit very cheap with used parts from the classifieds section of the forum.

It is really a personal preference, they are all great choices. You need to base the kit/size on your realistic goals also. I personally love the turbo sound and wild mid/top end hp for a toy, but a sc more for daily driver with instant tq in the lower rpm. I', not a huge fan of procharger, but do love the snappiness spool of that 6.0 pc though

3000-4000 is the cost for the turbo KIT alone. I wish people would stop perpetuating the false cost of a turbo setup.

To the OP, keep the cam on the small side for what you are wanting. In a daily driver, err on the side of smaller when it comes to cam and torque converter. Vinci 210/218 or Isky 212/212, 215/215 would be my choices.

"I wish people would stop perpetuating the false cost of a turbo setup"

I'm sure the OP knows about all the other expenses such as drive terrain and fuel system up grades with a tune, runs realistically 8-10K to do it right. I'm also sure any logical person would do their research before spending that amount of money. Sorry for "perpetuating the false cost" OP

I would go Maggie or Twin Screw over ProCharger. More low end torque so smoke the big tires.
