Default question..

sometimes when i drive my truck it back fires sound more like a pop and it is real fast and only one time it happens about once a week. doesnt matter if it is cold or hot outside or if the truck is either or. truck runs fine and nothing is showing up on my scanner.

i have pacesetter LTs with ORY and hooker dumped before the axel

i also have a cam and intake too.

thanks Robert

Does it sound like it's through the exhaust or intake? If it's through the exhaust, you may have some unburnt fuel iginiting in there. Also, check the obvious first...make sure the intake tube is secured tightly, as well as the spark plug wires. Make sure that you don't have any loose electrical connections or vacuum lines that might be popping off momentarily.
