Default Pushrods

Whats everyone running? I am deciding what to run in my new motor and currently leaning to Trend 3/8 Double taper. My current setup just has some comp 5/16 .080 and they have been un eventful however I plan to push it a bit more and don't want valve train instability. I am looking for something that will handle high cyl. pressure and 7K rpm.

From what I can find my planned heads wont take a 3/8 straight thus the reasoning for the double taper.

I don't want to do this and later regret what I picked. I need to get my heads in hand before I order them but trying to sort out the plan.

I think comp 3/8s in mine. Ask whoever is doing your heads to hone out the pushrod bore a little to fit 3/8 pushrods.

I emailed TEA and they said 3/8 will fit, soooo. I guess I may do some 3/8" Trends.

I believe mine are straight 3/8 as well. I know they are 3/8, but I dont know if they are tapered.

I had my engine assembled as a long block to get a 3 year warranty... so I am not positive exactly which pushrods I have. One of the few parts I did not order before hand.
