Spit is a very effective lube too, works great when nothing else is available

Remember if your tube is tapered... stick it in the green one,
if you're more straight than tapered... the black one is for you!

While we are talking about lubes and spits and licks: what kind of spit do we like to use for LS oil pump priming? In the past I've used the Permatex red engine assembly lube with good results. Is there something better I should use when priming the 408?
