Default PRC 220cc 5.3L Stage 2.5 CNC Ported Heads?

I noticed on TSP's website the price of the 5.3l stage 2.5 heads went from $1134 to $1309. It also says:

"ALL NEW UPDATED Precision Race Components 5.3L stage 2.5 CNC ported cylinder heads. Dyno results have shown up to 50rwhp gains with the addition of these cylinder heads."

Is there something new with these heads? Did they change something, or is it still the same setup?

thats really not that big of a change, probably just covering rising costs they have encountered either for parts or machining.
Still a decent price for heads that have had nothing but good reviews from what ive read on here..

They changed a few small things more than a year ago, they just still say all new updated. We've seen no noticeable different on flowbench or horsepower from their earlier ones.

Good heads, always excellent producers for their cost. I've always thought they should raise their price slightly for smart business purposes. No one else has a cheaper head head available with similar setup.

Thanks for the review, Jim! And for everybody's info: the increase in price is just due to the increasing cost of doing business such as materials, head castings, cutters for the CNC machines, packaging supplies, payroll, etc.
