Default Possible 6.3?

I read about someone stroking a 5.3 to a 6.3. What is involved in this? Just a crank swap? What are the advantages/disadvantages to this vs. a 6.0 LQ9? What abut cost, low end power, overall power etc? Thanks for the help.

I personally wouldn't bother stroking a 5.3, especially when you can get a complete 402 bottom end (6.0L stroked to 6.6L) for under $4k with nice components.

depends what the cost is to stroke a 5.3. You might be better off buying a 6.0. Actually I think he bored and stroked it, might not be very cost effective.
