Default parts list help

Hello everyone. Just about ready for engine disassembly-in truck. I think I have a decent plan for the build. Here are the parts I would like to use.The truck is a 2000 sierra 2500 2wd 4l80e, stock converter.
2000 6.0 short block
243 heads cut .015, some porting done
stock head gaskets
nnbs intake
edelbrock 90mm t body
flex fuel injectors
212,218 hi lift cam
ls2 timing set
new stock lifters
new trays
roller trunion kit
for now stock exhaust manifolds
pac 1218 springs
after assembly a ecm tune. I think that's all. Your thoughts greatly appreciated . Thanks

Jeremy

Would the trick flow TFS-30602001 be a better cam ? Moves the power band up a bit but I could advance it 2 degrees. Just asking.

Both are baby cams for a 6.0L. Look at the Brian Tooley Racing stage 1 cam. 223/230 115 LSA. I would run his double springs with that too.

This is a tow build not a go fast build. 223/230 is a bit big for a stock stall tow pig. The 216/220 trickflow cam is a great budget cam with a stock stall it should do great. The wider LSA is actually a good thing for a tow vehicle. Spreads the love all over. I would suggest a custom grind if not one of the original options.

Thanks for the reply Gamble. No way I was going any more duration that the trick flow cam. Just thought the 212,218 cam was weak for a 6.0 . All parts on the way.Have to pull the trans to find out what happened to 2nd gear, then do the engine. Will chassis dyno when done and post. Thanks for help folks.
