Default P0300 After Cam install

Well got my cam, oil pump, LS2 chain. pushrods, 5812 springs installed yesterday.

Idles really nice! Love the lope.

But getting random misfire codes. Poor drivability.

Double checked the coil pak harness, the spark plug wires.

Installed new NGK plugs gapped at ..040 .

Any ideas? Im kinda stuck and depressed right now!

Thanks!

EDIT, Scanned with EFI live and it wont tell me which cylinder is misfiring>

Gotta be something simple??

P0300 is very common with a cam swap. You'll need to change the settings for missfires to keep from having codes thrown.

May need to do a Crankshaft variation relearn. A Tech 2 scan tool is required for this.
