Well I don't have to go to work during rush hour traffic luckily!! If I did I'm sure my gas mileage would be different and yes LA traffic is a biatch!!!!

REAL bored, it's been sitting in my driveway with at least 5 dead cylinders...and I only checked 6! I had a little too much fun one night and killed it.

Exactly how I killed my TBI motor in my 89. I just had to do a braketorque. Down for a year, while I researched,... 1 LT1 swap later, 3 blown trannies, 1 blown rear, & now it sits...down AGAIN! Currently blown tranny & rear. It has taken a back seat to my 04. I lack an unlimited amount of $$$.

Yeah, this economy SUCKS ***. I guess we should pick a more inexpensive hobby, but old habits are hard to break. Good luck on your rebuild.

FWIW I would drop down to 3.73s for a RPM drop but still have some performance. I know that wasn't an option, but my RCSB N/A Ls1 243s and 1.8 rockers is knocking down 21 at 65mph. 16/17 at 80. I'm shooting for low to mid 20s at 80 with the home brewed turbo setup.

Thanks for the info! I might consider it but I am 4wd so it is either my old 3.42's or the 410's. Don't want to buy another set. However, 20's kinda offset the 4.10's.

Sorry to hear that. Your truck ran hard. trt will have my short block in a few days but I have to wait about a month on the heads. I wonder if the manifolds will have to be ported to match the larger exhaust ports of the Patriots?
