Do the L92s have different oil pans that the L76s? I've yet to do an oil change on my L76 so I don't know this answer but the L76 in the G8s hold 9quarts due to the DOD maybe the oil pan from a truck L76 will hold more? My owners manual says my L76 holds 6 quarts but why would they make the G8 get more oil capacity? You'd think the trucks would have the higher oil capacity if any. Think I'm going to do my oil change tonight and find out.

None of the gen IV motors ive worked on has a low level sensor.

Truck is 6qt oil pans too, i put my oil back in the gallon and qt jug to see if i lose oil. I lose a 1/4 of oil it i race a lot but thats picked up through my catch can. So i know my truck isnt burning any oil. 2800-3200 mile changes depending on my work week and any plans i have come my days off
