700 idle is still pretty low for a 224 cam so whoever this thread is for to decide, if you went with 850 or 900 it wouldnt be bad at all but with any cam, unless wide split in duration or something its not gonna idle exactly like stock. if you put it through a muffler it wouldnt lope like that either i think. i have that same exhaust set up with an 850 idle and muffler and it doesnt lope like that, yea it lopes pretty good and rocks side to side but doesnt sound like that. havent tried it with my cutout open though

Odd, mine lopes though the muffler just as good as the cutout.
