Default oil pressure

I just built a new motor with a mellings high performance pump. I now know the right o-ring was put in and everything was put together by a good shop. The truck rain mint for a few days then all of a sudden the oil pressure was going all over the place. from 0-45 at idle. I change the sending unit and it worked awesome after that. tonight however it started doing the same thing again. Any Ideas guys?

Thanks Adam

If it was good after you changed the sending unit, the problem may be in the connection to the sending unit, and by disturbing it you allowed it to make contact again. Check the wiring to the connector and the terminal inside the connector itself and make sure that it isn't spread out.

I believe that the 03-04 models are especially problematic...
