Default New Cam Motion Camshaft for Denali - Any Advice??

I just bought a new cam for my '03 Denali (LQ4 6.0L) - based on a recommendation from a friend - and I'm planning on installing it next weekend with my Radix Supercharger kit that I also just bought. I should have done what I'm doing now before buying it, and that is to check with the people who know their **** to see if I got the right one - you guys! Here are the specs of the cam that I got (made by Cam Motion):

Duration: 205/212
Lift: .548"/.540"
Lobe: 114

I also got some LS6 valve springs to go along with it. Anyone have any input on whether or not this is a good cam to use with a Radix blower on an otherwise stock LQ4 engine? I know everyone will ask about my Torque Converter, and I'm just running the stock TC right now. Looking back, I wish I would've upgraded that when I had my tranny rebuilt back in October. I wasn't planning on doing too many mods at that time so I didn't think it would be worth it, but hind sight is 20/20! I don't take my truck to the track so I'm not really too concerned about 1/4 times, and I don't tow a lot so that's not a concern either. I'm just looking to pick up some extra ponies for spirited driving around town & on the freeway.

Do these cam specs look okay for my application? And is there anything else I should do when I change my cam (i.e. new lifters, etc.)? As you can tell I don't know a whole lot about cams, etc, that's why I'm looking for some input.

James.

it is kinda on the little side for a 6.0 but being so it should help out down low. I would think that with a 6l and the factory stall would be fine.

Your stock lifter will be fine. You could invest in some hardened pushrods. Since you are swapping springs anyway, the pushrods will drop right in.

To be perfectly honest I think that cam is too small for a Radix/6L
I can't dog you too much because I went with the GT2-3 (207/220 .578/.581 118.5) That cam is also pretty small for a Radix/6L in my opinion, but it was designed by Lingnfelter to work with the Radix.
I think you should go with more lift at least. 218/220 .570/.570 114+ or so. Hopefully some cam experts will chime in.

Good read:

Does that GT2-3 cam have a rough idle, or does it maintain a fairly mellow idle? Also, does it retain the low end torque or do you lose that? I don't want something where I'm going to lose a lot of low end torque, because as I mentioned I'm not going to be racing a lot and I have a stock TC. If those GT2-3 cams retain the low-end torque then I may consider those if people have had good luck with them with F.I. They're $250 more than I paid for this Cam Motion cam & springs, but I'd rather spend a little more and get the best ones.

VERY smooth idle (click the link in my sig)
Low end tq is still there.
GT2-3 was designed for the Radix supercharger.
I picked up 30hp with the cam as my only change between dyno runs. I have seen others gain much more. Depends on your set-up. Research this alot more before you run out tomorrow and buy a new cam. Your goals are what you need to discuss with cam manufactuers.

I wouldn't go any bigger than the GT2-3, if you plan on keeping the stock TC.
