Operating Range: 2300-6500 RPM
Duration Advertised: 284° Intake / 296° Exhaust
Duration @ .050'' Lift: 240° Intake / 246° Exhaust
Valve Lift w/1.5 Rockers: .507'' Intake / .510'' Exhaust
Lobe Separation Angle: 110°

Do you think this will be too much cam for it and do you think i iwll be satisfied with the results
i think it's too much with those heads you have.
i have that cam in my chevelle, (350 flat top, stock openchamber with 1.94's, performer intake and 600 dp) 4-spd, 4.11's. it lopes like a mother but it's too much for the car. before that i had the 274 with i believe .487/.490 lift and with a 3.08 gear/one wheel, the car ran 13.30's @ 104.

since the 305 heads flow like **** yes that will be too much of a cam until he goes to some better heads..then he could go with bigger cam possilbly i think..

Special Purpose Camshaft And Lifter Kit Hyd.Flat TappetRPM 2500–6000Adv.Dur 287 Int./296 Exh.V.Lift .468 Int./Exh.Lobe 110 Deg Incl. Cam Lifter; HYDRAULIC, Fair idle. Great high perf. street cam. Needs headers, gear and 2500 converter.
that is the info on the cam
It has Keith Black pistons, new scat 5.7 rods, new scat 9000 3.75 stroke crank(its not forged, but the guy at scat told me to ring the **** out of it), It has proaction heads, 230 cc runners, 2.08/1.6 valves, and the steam holes have been drilled by machine shop, air gap intake, demon 750 DP mechanical secondaries. ARP bolts through out(head, rod, main, accesories). Completly balanced, It has around 9.8 or 10.1 to 1 comp... Its was built to be fun on the street. It pushed my S-10 to a 7.96. that was the only time it was taken to the track. It had no exhaust(open headers), dist had heavy springs in it(full advance comes in at about 3k rpms) it now has the lightest springs, which makes the advance come in at 1200 rpms. And it was spinning, I had slicks, but it is in a stock chassis truck
