New Build - 402?
Well my 6.0 engine let go this past weekend -
Now I am debating on my new set up.
I can not make up my mind if I should build a forged 6.0 or go ahead and build a 402.
What should I do??
My current set up consist of -
6.0 - lq4 - arp rod bolts, high flow oil pump, LS2 timing chain, 317 Heads
222-224-.578-.578-112 cam , pushrods, 918 springs.
T72 front mount turbo, A/W Intercooler, 4" Downpipe
255 in tank & 60# injectors
Built 4L80E - 3400 stall
3.90 Gears - Eaton
E-fans
If I go 402 I will -
add an inline fuel pump
custom fuel rails
custom cam
Will my heads be ok?
Will I have enough fuel? To how much boost? HP?
Will the trubo be big enough?
How much psi do you think it can run on this turbo?
So many questions, lol
Thansk for the help.

Whatever you decide, hurry up so you'll be ready for decemeber! That truck is gonna move!
To answer some of your questions and get some replies going:
T80 turbo, minimum
fuel rails, aeromotive pump
WCCH, heads
20psi on a built engine
just some ideas,
later,
allen

Well I think after some research on other builds.
I have seen that a boosted 370 with about 4 psi more, makes real close to the same power as a boosted 402.
And I think it will be more realiable.
Please chime in on this.
Right now I am thinking a forged 370 with a turbonetics t-78, and set to about 16-18 psi.

I am dropping off the block at the machine shop today!
Decided on forging the 6.0
Keeping the 9.5-1 compresion and the 317 heads.
Any recomnedation on piston brand? CC's? Looking at Diamond, Weisco, and Probe
Rings?
Rods? Looking at Caliies and Eagle
ARP head bolts or studs? Looking at Head studs
Head Gaskets? Stock MLS or?
ARP Main studs
Thanks for the help!
