Default Need some help with my poor 4.8

hey all i am looking for a few upgrades for my power challenged 4.8 litre. I have heard that my engine is the same as the5.3 litre with a smaller crank and shorter rods. i was considering just swapping the crank and rods i wonderif that would work.

Not worth it, just do all the bolt-ons and fine tunning and that'll wake up that 4.8!

Cam, stall, intake, 4:11 gears, full exhaust, custom tune. That will help you out. Or you can just slap some FI on it and call it a day

Default kustoms

Thank you all i am in the process of custom building an air intake to use until i can afford an FIPK. Crazy thing is that Auto Zone has all the parts to make one fit just about anything and I do believe that you can build one for less than $70.00. If I have calculated everything correctly iw will flow like an AEM Bruteforce intake. As far as a custom tune i don't want to use Hypertech i had problems with the last one that i had on My other truck. I am going to save up and go to San Antonio to get my Tuning done. I'm just waiting to see if I can get my hedders and exhaust for a reasonable price.
