Default Need some advice

Alright guys I’ve got a tbss that spun a bearing so I through the wallet at my motor...stroked to 404 (-3 4.010 wisecos 6.125 k1 Rods & 4” crank) l92 heads with .020 off (65cc chambers) planned on running ls9 gaskets (.051 compressed thickness) but with every piece of math I do I’m coming back at a 12.3 SCR and roughly a 9.7 DCR on the custom grind vengeance racing cam...(49.4 ABDC) now I’m not afraid to run race gas and clearly that’s the only option this setup would even entertain because I refuse to allow 93 to be the answer at 14* of timing across the table 😂 so if I go with a thicker gasket (don’t want to spend anymore money at this point) how much gasket would you guys feel safe to provide proper quench and still be able to hit it with a 200-250 shot in a progressive setup? Thanks for any info...been awhile since I’ve even been on here!!!

I have read that quench must be less than .055" to work, and between .055 and I think it was .155 will actually be more prone to detonation than a non quench combustion chamber.

They’re hand ported 823’s with .020 off

truck will be on 93 & 85 standalone system for n2o

deck height should be 9.235 prob gonna swap from ls9 gasket to cometic .080 just curious how that will affect the 250-300 hit through a progressive

quench should be .056 on the ls9 gasket

.085 on .080

Purely opinion, but I think you're going the wrong way on the gaskets. Stock heads or get some CNC'd chambers: I wouldn't go more than .051 on the HG thickness

I also think there's an echo in here 🤨

Thx for some of the opinions guys...kinda just gonna send it with the ls9 gasket and see where she’s happy...using a terminator x Max as my ecm...what’s the worst that could happen 🤦🏻‍♂️
