Default need to make more on motor???

i had the truck tuned today and it only made 371rwhp. i am out of injectors and am working on getting them asap. the cam is a 228-232 on a 114lsa. the heads are PRC 2.5 and its on a 370ci motor. i was think that it would make around 400 or so. what can i do to make more HP. im going to spray a 200 on it this week but im trying to make 400 on motor and 600+ on gas so i will me around the same ET as the turbo.

thank for the help and INFO

this is what website say about the heads. flow 312 at .600,
# Stainless Steel 2.02"/1.575" Valves
# PRC Double Spring Kit Complete With
Springs, Titanium Retainers, Seats, & Seals

dont know what RPM he pulled to, and its a stock truck intake, i was told that LS6 intake would take away form my bottom end. i was better off staying with the truck intake with the longer runners.

but what do i know. this is all coming form Ryan at RPM so i take him word or word.

that cam is gonna take away from your bottom end more than a truck intake. you probably need to to 6800 or so to get peak power from that cam. the truck intake is gonna hold you back past 6000 or so.

i also saw your other post. if these are 5.3 heads i am gonna say that the runners are too small for good top end power. should have awesome throttle response and low end torque though. i am gonna say you either need to step down in cam duration or get a better set of heads.

I think your heads and cam are too small for your goals.

If your budget permits step up to some AFR 225s or the TFS LS2 heads, then get a healthy cam for it. Then you need to add a FAST90/92. After that you'll have pretty much the same combo I do

Just do the turbo and forget about it, no bottles to fill.

i was trying not to go with that big cam so i could still have a lot of low end and it would not be such a pig down low,

KB, ill give you the heads and the nitrous kit and some cash for the turbo.HAHAHA
