Default Need help with compression for FI 370

I am trying to get parts together for a 370. I am planning on using a stock crank with forged aftermarket rods. I know there are people making 700 on LQ9's with rod bolts, but I think the added insurance of the aftermarket ones will be better. I have a set of AFR 225cc heads with 72cc chambers. What dish do I need on the pistons to get it at 9.0:1. This is going to be a turbo motor and I plan on having the boost between 10 and 15 psi. Also I have a set of Cometic gaskets. Would yall run those, or go to copper?

i'd run the cometics at that boost level.
This is a copy and paste off of Thunder racing site. I have the 11515 but i'm running a stock LQ9 rod. You would need the 11516 or 11517 if you run an aftermarket SBC rod like most do. These pistons will put you in the upper 8's - 9:1 range depending on gasket thickness.

well i have almost the same setup im building currently. im using 72 cc heads too. im going to be ordering my pistons or they have been ordered already. only thing is im aiming for 9.5-1 compression so they may not be exactly what you rlooking for.

Lot of people getting away with it over on tech with over-tq'ed headstuds, but alot seem to have problems past that point and are REALLY sensitive to KR.

So to hit a 9.0:1 or high 8:1 with a .030 overbore I would need to go with a -15cc dish?
