How well does the SSR flow compared to the FAST 90/90 up top? Just curious if that would be a more "viable" option.

SSR is about the same as the stock truck manifold. No reason to swap unless you just want the 90mm throttle body.

Yeah, just wonder what the motor would get out of using a FAST vs. the SSR intake

Alright picture time

Heres what i started with for my ideal intercooler mounting area

So i tried dropping the I/C straight in with the inlets up and the cold side routing just wouldnt work so that was out

Second attempt was flipping it over and putting the inlets down, this worked for routing but when i put the Grill shell on it i ran into a problem, the 3" thick core of the I/C would not allow for the bottom of the grill shell to clip in, so that was out

So the third time was indeed the charm, i removed the trans cooler from the core support and tried testing it again and sure enough the bastard fits and looks sick through the grill

More tommorow but it's 3:30 AM and i'm going to bed

looks good, what are you going to do with the trans cooler now??? I was going to do mine under the bed with a fan when I switched to hoses, but decided against it. It seems like this would be a great option for you though since your space up front is limited
