So what all is deemed necessary for a GOOD 2 piece. Im a turbo ecsb and im worried aobut mine a bit from the reputation they have for splitting. Thanks for any enlightenment...


I just read in tuning were someone let go on a dyno...

Yours should already have a 2-piece depending on what odds and ends your EC truck was speced out with at the factory. If yours doesn't have a 2-piece your lucky in any case because you already have the cross member needed for the carrier bearing, you shouldn't have that much to do othe than buy the actual DS. CC don't have that crossmemeber and we have to build it.

Ya i know i have a 2 piece, ive seen and removed it. BUt what is considered a preventative thing to do to keep it safe\ and or build it..

Have it speed balanced. Although I've never heard of a steel piece shattering; well actually...how much HP you putting down?
