the tr224 will be pretty sweet in the 4.8 Wait4me tuned the **** out of my truck for that Cam, wasnt hard or anything, but his tune was way better than TSP's tune.

if i had a daily driver i'd probably try it out. but i don't...this truck is my DD...

so im tryin to sell it, get a TR224 or something.

The Wood Hauler is going with a 226/226 .585/.585 on 112LSA. It doesn't make a difference if you have a 4.8 or 5.3, they are the same bore, the shorter stroke 4.8 will just make it's power up high. Just like comparing an old school 327 vs. 350. One is more torquey and one likes higher rpm's better.

so who thinks i should just install it for the hell of it, run it on stuck tuning to see if i like it or not? lol i might just do it anyways

personally i think even the tr224 is too big for your truck. remember you have a 4.8 4x4 ext cab. if i were you, i would go with the comp 216/220 or the tr220 the biggest. just my $.02

4x4 reg cab stepside.

yeah, think ill end up with a 224, or 216/220 cam or something...or just like mentioned earlier just graba 6.0 block and buildit up.

sorry for the mistake man. i could have swore it was an ext. cab. i must have been thinking about 4.8T
