.535 lift is so small too in 4.8/5.3 let alone a 402 it should be .580+ lift

Why? Those heads don't flow much more past .500"

Sure, here's one of the 1/4 mile runs. This is not my most current tune, but I haven't changed a whole lot since then. IGNORE THE AFR READING, it is wired through the egr and I think I have a bad ground or something. The scanner matched my gauge for about the first few weeks but then something went weird with it. Afr during the run on my gauge is at 13.0 and then it drops a little toward the end. I think this might have been a little too lean.

High iat's due to a warm day and having to sit in line. Again, ignore the AFR reading on the log.

This is also what I found when I was researching lift for cam selection.

I have a friend will milled 706 5.3L with around a .550 lift cam and installed 1.8 roller rockers, gained 13rwhp and 8 rwtq, with a around a .580 lift. Didn't know if these gain were from the extra lift or roller design freeing up some mechanical stress, but thought it was interesting with the stock intake runners. I would never pay $500 plus for 13hp and 8tq though lol

I figured he was going to gain nothing due to what yall are saying by the heads dont flow much past 0.500 lift

If you do plan on re caming it, I would look into the isky line. Everybody running isky cams have had great results.

Lack of stall will make a lil lazy. Pretty small cam for 4" stoke setup. Things will be way different when boosted power band will change a lot because the turbo will give it the top end your lookin for. It's still gonna be done really early tho.

i would expect faster times than a 15 sec slip with a 400+ CI engine, but with zero supporting mods and bone stock drivetrain and a very basic tune, i think its pretty close. with a little more compression and a turbo, you have the potential to pick up a couple of hundred horsepower pretty easily. lol
