not to be a jerk, the stock cam will get you into 13's with headers and converter.

Keep telling yourself that... That truck needed a tune to get into the 15s when it was stock. There is no way you can drop 3 seconds with headers and a stall on a 4.8 truck. With me behind the wheel (I'm a big boy) my truck ran 14.50 with CAI, shift kit, servo, no cats and a tune. With ARH LT headers and a Circle D 3200 stall I'm running 13.82. That's in an SSS too...4.8 needs a cam to match that.

this plan went to ****..........i got FUGGGGED on an iron ls1, and the cam i was putting in my 4.8, was in that motor, one of the lobes has a knick on it.....read the whole "novel" on ls1tech in the tx section....its been a bad last cpl of days......i need a drink
