Yes it's lowered 3/5. I took a carb'd 383 gen 1 out of it that was getting 10mpg so when i put fuel injection back in it, I was extremely happy!

How bad would a 3200 stall converter from circle d affect the mileage

Everyone will tell you it doesn't affect milage but it does. I get great milage on the highway only because its locked most of the time. City driving is significantly less but I don't know an exact number.

The 278mm converters are still considered pretty tame or mild converters and gas mileage should not suffer as much as you would think. Maybe 1-2mpg less with one of those at worst if your tune is spot on. Now if you get a smaller diameter/ higher performance converter and or quite a bit bigger stalling converter yes you will see more MPG loss lol.

Thats because of your stall though... and all those 100 MPH runs you put on youtube!

In theory the larger injectors alone shouldnt change gas mileage at all, they just allow for more gas to be fed in higher RPM's when you increase airflow and power.

That being said, its true that its harder to get a big injector to act small than for a small injector to do its job.

This is correct.

I've got the 278mm Circle D... as long as you keep your foot out of it, it's pretty tame. I lost about 3 MPG in town, but our town is 25mph speed limit, and I'm going about a mile between turns of the key, which doesn't help any either.

I'm getting the same on the highway as I did before, because the converter is locked nearly the entire time.
