moter swap

what would be a good motor swap for a 98 gmc with a vortec 5.7 to get alot of power that everything would work back

simplest would be a 383 stroker, but many LS based motor swaps have been done in that model truck, ls1truck.com has tons of info for installing an LS1 or a 6.0L from the 99+ trucks, but it's a bit more work.
