I wish these intakes could become somewhat more reasonable on price.
If only we could more easily open up the stock intakes and have a way to reliably seal them back up and we could grind down the runner lengths and do more internal porting. Seems like it you could open up a GEN IV truck intake you could grind down the runners to get the shorter length you need for high rpm operation.

Wasn't there a guy on here not too long ago who used a backyard foundry to make his own intake? Or was that an exhaust manifold?

I seem to recall there were a couple guys on facebook or instagram that were porting these, some being local to you.
I can’t remember for the life of me though the names. Maybe check LS1Tech as well
