LS9 cam on a 99 silverado what should i know?

The LS9 cam is a bad choice for anything that doesn’t have a PD blower and rect port heads. It’s made for a light car and to be stock style friendly. The LS6 cam is decent for a stock cam, but there are many off the shelf aftermarket grinds that are much better.
