No! That part number is ironically similar to the cam specs but that looks like it's for some big Mopar motor.

Here is the cam I'm referring to https://www.summitracing.com/parts/btc-tck-b-2/

It's ok to feel like an idiot these forums are slam full of amazing information. I can guarantee that 99% of the questions you have are already answered here. It just takes time reading and figuring out what to search to find the answer.

Some members get annoyed with newbie questions but they all probably started asking the same stuff. Just keep learning everything you can.

Long tubes or no tubes. If you're not spending the money on long tubes, maybe get the factory manifolds ceramic coated....

Why in the world would he get the factory manifolds coated?

I'd agree, go long tubes or stay stock, no in between but I can't see the point in doing anything to the factory manifolds

I have a ls6 cam in my 5.3 truck and it’s a nice cam for the buck(stock cam) I got a 212/218 I’m throwing in so the ls6 cam will be for sale once it’s pulled. I just beat a dodge Cummins the other night from a dig at a light. Once the converter flashes the cam rips. I can only imagine the 212/218 with supporting mods but that will get a turbo at the same time so it will be even better. But ls9 cam isn’t the best cam unless you rev it or wot everything. Even then it’s a dog. I had one and traded it for 4l80 core. Try ls6 used in a smaller cube motor (5.7 vs 6.2) it will pair nice with a 2800k converter and bolt on mods. if you can find some 799 or 243 heads of run them . Just a thought. Cheap mods you’ll net 50+ Then 100-150 shot of juice and you have a nice street truck
