ls6 heads on nnbs silverado

Just FYI, I think the 243 heads come on the flex fuel nnbs. I thought they were on all others too, but I know my friend's '07 Avalanche 5.3 has the 243 heads for sure... What casting number are yours?

actually it's random wen It comes to flexfuels.. the majority come with the 799 heads.. all the non-flexfuel nnbs come with 243s

Mine doesnt have all the flex fuel emblems. But whenever i ease off the gas it does say it shuts down to 4 cyl.Anyways, I was told to check the bore size on a 5.3 and an ls6. I didn't see any # on my heads

Displacement on Demand has nothing to do with Flex Fuel. As for the valve size, not all 5.3L's have the same valve size.
