LS1 w/ 5.3 heads

Whats the deal with the 5.3 heads on the LS1???

Higher compression (61.15cc 5.3L head vs. 66.66cc LS1 head) with no loss in flow characteristics other than a smaller valve(1.89" vs 2.00"), easily taken care of at the shop.
