LS1 in my 2001 GMC
#1
I have just happened to come across an LS1 out of an '02 vette and am wanting to know how much work it would take to put the engine in my 2001 GMC Sierra. Really just wanting to know will my ECM work and all my other parts I have, I am thinking about doing the Trick Flow stage3 cam and a set of there heads on the motor. The motor has about 77,000 miles on it and is in great shape, and on a final note will my harness from my truck work on the engine, thanks to all that post and it might take awile but I will return and post responses to everyone that does post, thanks again and later.

Harness plugs are different on the injectors but if you plan on running the truck intake then it won't be a problem. If you want to run the LS1 intake you should be able to swap you truck injectors into it or buy the plugs to run the LS1 injectors. I think the truck injectors flow about the same but not certain on that.
