Without seeing the tune it's hard to comment of why it's doing the open/closed loop switch like that at idle. That 2000 OS has all the tables he needs to tune just a cam setup, knowing how to tune the VE and MAF properly on the early 99-00 OS is key. The 01's does have a few more tables and a few less tables that make it easier is some aspects but it's not a must to have.

Ah, tell him to completely disable torque management. Betting TM is pulling all the timing with your foot on the brake. Ran into a similar problem on a truck I was tuning.

Thank you for that, i will def ask him to give that a shot. Will that be really hard on the trans?

I will see if he would be willing to give me a copy of the tune.

I have some ls6 springs, hardened pushrods, and the new valve spring keeper do dads inthe mail right now. Is it really nessasary to replace the spring retainers? I know i should but i also know i am spending more loot then i should be right now. How important are the retainers in the grand scheme of things?

One more thing i wanted to ask about. My tuner advised against installing my transgo shift kit. He said the Vette servo is almost a must and the shift kit is just a waste.

What are your thoughts on this opinion? Would you guys agree or disagree with this assessment and why?

Ok next question; so i am putting in my pushrods and valve springs and noticed that some of my old pushrods were wore down more then others. Is this an indication of a problem? What could this mean?

is it an even amount of pushrods showing more wear? or just a few? might be do to your cam having split duration and/or lift on one side

if they all are showing more wear on one end it might be due to one side sits in the lifter cup and the other in the rocker

No split duration or lift. It was just on 2 or 3 in one bank and where i noticed it was where they made contact with the rockers not the lifters. Idk it just seemed odd to me because when i installed the cam all the pushrods were wore evenly and not now.
