Default LQ4 turbocharged

Hi guys im based in Australia and i have a Holden commodore ss 5.7 genIII which was currently turbogarged.
I had problems with a cracked bore when on the dyno, reason for that i think weak engine after having supercharger on before, and having problems with detonation lots of detonation tuned by other tuner.
Any way we pulled the engine out and decided to put a 6.0 iron block with LQ4 pistons and heads to drop the compression.
We have built the engine already and installed ready for dyno soon.
I have a few questions since not many people a familiar with these engines

Are the dished pistons in the LQ4 stronger or made out of the same material as the ls1 5.7 flat pistons.
We have here in australia a lot of standard genIII 5.7 engines turbocharged with 10 psi standard comp. running 330-400 rwkws, and no one has had any problems.
At the moment i can not aford forged internals so i thought next best thing would be LQ4 pistons and heads to drop the comp.and make it safer.
If the pistons are made of same material as 5.7 ls1 genIII i should have no problem.
I noticed that the LQ4 pistons have thicker ring lang and are chunkier than the 5.7 genIII.
Does any one know of some one that is running turbo setup on a Lq4 engine, how much boost and power?

Cheers i appreciate your help thankyou.
