Do you know if your tuner removed to all tq management? If not that could be what is causing the lack of burnout, have you tried doing it in tow haul mode?

And a stock 2500 puts down and average of 240, so with your cai, exhaust, should cancel out the drive loss from 33" tires and with a tune you should be around 260rwhp. Are you sure you weren't running on 7 cylinders? lol jk but seriously there might be something going on if you are making 190 and should be around 250-260. I would start a thread asking about this, maybe get some ideas on what is choking/robbing that 6.0
Sounds good to me, I am really just confused about the truck. Although it does also have 270,000kms so that could contribute to some of the losses. I will take a look at my tune and tinker with it, maybe Torque Management isn't completely turned off. I ordered a mail order tune for my 6.0L, and he is a pretty good corvette tuner. Maybe he isn't too familiar with 4L80E??

Some tuners leave it on, especially for an old 60e just needing to get by. I would bump the 1-2 shift to 5800-6000 and 2-3 5800 that 80e will be fine.

If you can do a diagnostic scan, data log, and WOT pull, then you can post it in a the tune section and get a lot of great feed back to communicate with your tuner.

I agree his number is low but that's subjective to the dyno and we know how consistent that junk is. So for all we know it is running absolutely just fine. Brake stands with an 80E and its junk stock convertor, 4.10's with 33's and a 2500's rear discs and a higher mile LQ4... not really happening even with the tune. My 05 as an example is strong... can light the tires pretty easily empty from a stop.... but with decent rear brakes.... won't really do a brake stand. And I rock just 30" tall tires that are way lighter than a 33 would be. My 1500HD uses the same rear brakes as a 2500HD does... just his rotors have a bigger hub center hole for the 10.5's axles.

I shift at 5900 rpm in all gears on my 80E and it's high enough with the stock camshaft. I deleted torque management entirely in my 2 trucks 80E's and even with stock shift pressure they shift hard.... but it's the the kind of hard I like. I set my shift times to 0.2 seconds as well.

A smaller duration cam with a tigher LSA will run harder in a heavy pig than anything bigger will. I like the nature of a tighter LSA cam though and not everyone does. That said the looser and inherently more efficient torque convertor will help a lot. The 216/224 would probably make a really nice torquey driver.. but with the looser convertor something in the 220 range on the intake isn't out of the question.

Very good points on the dyno and burnout issues!
