DozerDan, does the truck in the video clip have any other mods other than the cam (and exhaust work)? i also have a 4.8 and have been looking for a good cam with a mean idle for a DD.

that does sound good but would a 112 lsa sound even deeper, I have longtubes with true duals and spintech mufflers. Also about the programmer I would still need it to up my top speed and adjust for my new gear ratio and also planning on a set of 18" wheels in the future also. I do appreciate the info guys this is alot of help I think my decision is almost complete, just let me know about the 112 lsa and what about a lift in the 550-570 range but with about a 220-225 duration, let me know, later.

if you got the 212/218 with a 112lsa that would be a custom grind...comps shelf cams are 212/218 .525 114LSA and then there is one with higher lift and its on a 115...

Vinci sells a 210/218 .551 on 112. That would be nice in a 4.8.

Hey Dozer I am not putting on the 18's now and that would mean that I would have to drop the money for a tune when I changed the gears and the wheels out, is this really money well used or is it going to be wasted, later.

fyi, most tuners including nelson only charge shipping for a retune, that means buy the tune now and when you need you tire size changed, just send it back and he will retune it for free
