Default Looking at a 234/234 .598/.598 113....Thoughts

It's a comp cam 234/234 .598/.598 113. Has anybody gone that size in a stock bore 6.0L? Just curious of its characteristics. Would I have to go a different route with the heads? Heads on the truck now are hand ported/polished milled .30 6.0L heads with Comp 918 springs. I'm also currently running a fuddle 3200 stall. Thoughts?

IMO and as much as you drive it you have enough converter for just about anything you might consider.

Why not get some sort of int/exh split so your "big" shot is more friendly. Im going ot be running a 228/230 XER lobe cam on my 6.0 with a 125-150 shot. With a little less converter but more gear(4.10).

You may want to look into a diff manifold before changing cams. And do some research on LSK lobe and dual springs. More torque down low wiht less duration but still about the same peak HP.

Sounds like a good solid cam to me but I would think that you would need more convertor. Do you still have the 3.73s?

if THIS is the one you are talking about you might want to ****** it up. $300 is a good price and would definitely make good useable power

That is almost the cam that I will be running in my 408/s85 setup. I would be interested to see how it acts in a N/A setup.

Thanks for all of the responses....I'm still running 3.73s at the moment. I am planning on doing the intake swap this year as well. I'm trying to pull the trigger on it, but I've still got this feeling the 224 isn't done making power yet. Damn, decisions, decisions....

Take the 224 as far as it will go then switch once you got everything in place to take full advantage of the bigger cam IMO.

FOr once I agree 110% with 1slow. HAHA JFWY you 1slow!

slowprocess that cam is making enough power to put your truck in the low 12's on motor. DLH has 12.4 with truck manifold. And he has stock 317's I believe. Get your intake manifold on their and then get a set of dual springs and get you a sweet LSK lobed cam. JMO

I'm going to take it as far as I can. The truck has been 12.40, but that was along time ago. I still feel my downfall has been in tuning and traction. I've got alot of time left playing with it though. Next on the list is the intake and the ladder bars.
